About PKLI

Pakistan kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI&RC) is working as a body corporate through Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center Act 2019 (the Act) passed by the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. PKLI&RC is overseen by an independent Board of Governors constituted through the said Act. Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center PKLI is a tertiary referral hospital located in Lahore, Punjab. This project was completed in August 2017 and has 800 beds with a total cost of Rs. 16 billion. CM Shahbaz Sharif has initiated this project in 2016. PKLI is providing modern treatment of kidney and liver diseases and free medical facilities to poor patients of the country. All medical facilities are available to kidney and liver patients under one roof in the institute.
